Well, after our little party in the rain last week, we decided to reschedule Michael’s session for this morning. I was a wee concerned with the cloudy skies this morning – but it turned out to be a perfect day for a session. We headed to the train station in Kirkwood and enjoyed walking around and taking in all of the hustle and bustle. Michael was able to talk to a firefighter, eat a hot dog, and dance with his momma. It was a great time. Here a few from the morning.
Well, the first 15 minutes of this session was awesome….and then we got caught in a HUGE rainstorm! We ran back to the car and waited a bit before deciding to try again on a sunnier day. Michael was *so* cute yesterday! In the past, he has been so quiet and reserved around me. Not this time….as you can clearly see! Can’t wait to try again soon! Enjoy the sneak peek!

This is my kid cousin (who isn’t a kid anymore). He is headed out for the Air Force (today!). We had a wee send off yesterday and I was able to grab him (and his momma) away from the chaos for a bit and take a few photographs.Enjoy the sneak peek!

Had a gorgeous day today for Emily’s senior session. We were on schedule for last week….but when it rain it pours….so the skies did not work out in our favor! Today was a wee on the cool side, but the sun was shining and the Missouri Botanical Gardens were bursting with a panoply of fabulous colors! We hiked just about everywhere and had a lovely time chatting. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know my clients. Emily is an amazing young woman and I am so pleased that I was able to capture this special time in her life! Enjoy the sneak peek!

So excited about my session with Ryan this afternoon. Totally laid back and fun. And as most of you know, I love unexpected surprises whilst out on a session…so when his mom mentioned and old vintage couch up in the garage attic – I jumped at the chance to head up there. Had a great time in downtown Eureka with Zach today! While Zach wasn’t exactly thrilled to have his photos taken – he was a total trooper whilst we scouted around for the best spots for photographs today.
